The other day there was a post about the blogger being on a radio show which linked to a page plump lips that had his picture on it. Oh my God, the Big Fat Blogger is not even what I would consider fat! See exhibits A and B: Not Hollywood svelte, but really plump lips not someone who's going to be called "Lard Ass" on the morning train. So, does this startling revelation hurt the credibilty of this blog? I dunno. I suppose a skinny person can run a size acceptance site, just as a man can major in Women's Studies. But I just imagined a really fat, Harry-Knowles-or-Michael-Moore-sized guy running the Big Fat Blog. It's somewhat disappointing to see behind the curtain. I also feel weird thinking that someone needs to be fatter to be more credible. |
