| The glycemic index is a big part of the South Beach Diet, which is my diet, so I took offense to this claim because, well, check me out. Diets are like religion, and I feel like someone just took a swipe at plump galleries my God. My personal experience of losing over 135 pounds is going to trump some random researcher's results any day of the week and twice on Sundays. This article mostly just reminds me of why I never bothered going on a diet before. Obesity researchers can't agree on anything! They just make us scared to put food in our mouths. I bet if you collected enough articles on dieting you could find a justifiable reason why any food you eat is going to cause you to drop dead. |
