As for the jogging - take it gently and you will adapt, but do stop if things are hurting. Injuring myself was my greatest fear when I started (touch wood, it hasn't happened yet, after nonalcoholic fatty liver 10 months). New trainers might help if there's room for them in the budget. I was like just doing all these weird arm movements too to see if I could make the clapping arm sound too!!! Atleast i know I'm not the only one - and I unfortunately couldn't either. I am a big believer in fat being lost @ the weirdest places, like I mentioned before my feet lol and now my wrists and ankles!! I agree with Kirsten with the jogging, I'd say just do as much as you can and when it hurts take it as a warning from your body to ease up - you'll build up to it no need to be a weekend warrior and be all full on straight away.
