And while that payment isn’t exactly huge, when you add all our minimum payments up with car payments and a $3,000/month mortgage, it makes our ratio get a little closer to the percentage they want. I’ve been trying to get 12 months worth of canceled checks from my parents to prove to the mortgage people that the minimum payment really doesn’t belong to me. However, my parent’s bank charges a $2 fee per check, which plump mt normally isn’t a big deal. I mean, most people right one plump mt check a month to pay of one particular bill, right? So that plump mt would be like $24. Oh no. No, no, no. My dad writes one check every week and then mails all four of them to pay the bill when it’s due. So now the fee to the bank goes up to $100 for silly canceled checks. Plus, the bank said it would take 3 weeks, which is longer than we have (the mortgage people want it by July 5th), so I guess we’ll just have to hope the guy did his math correctly and this one card won’t make a big difference.
